Punks

A punk is a bamboo stick with a brown coating that burns slowly. These look identical to incense sticks, but do not have any oils to give a distinctive smell like incense does. Punks are generally used to light consumer fireworks safely as they allow you to keep your hand several inches away from the fuse. Because fuses are known to spit fire occasionally, lighting fireworks with matches is strongly discouraged.
